Tony has twenty five years hands on experience in the marine industry. When he left school he went to work for Rogers Boats Shop in Auckland as a boat detailer but soon moved into the workshop. Gaining a wide range of experience with outboards of all brands.
After qualifying as a marine mechanic he travelled to USA for two years were he worked for Gentry racing on the Trans Atlantic record boat. Gentry Eagle.Helped to install a Lycoming turbine and Arnson surface drive between MTU diesels to boost to speed to 70 MPH. Not bad for a 110 ft boat.
Then moved to Australia,eventually working as service manager for one of Australia's largest Mercruiser dealers.
After 10 Years in Australia returned to New Zealand
