The new Evinrude E-TEC G2 is the first Evinrude outboard completely designed and built, start-to-finish, by BRP.
The Starboard-Starboard is a new exhaust architecture on Evinrude E-TEC G2 engines 200 H.O. and above. By having the exhaust ports on both banks, the rotating crankshaft naturally pushes the pistons to the starboard side. This avoids where the pistons exert their greatest pressure on the cylinder wall. This revolutionary design makes the engine even more reliable and more durable.
ON-ENGINE OIL TANK
By integrating the oil supply on-board the engine, offering an available dash oil level gauge system and incorporating an easy fill oil funnel, the Evinrude E-TEC G2 offers the simplest way to monitor the engine lubrication in the industry. No need to remove the cowling and check oil level before every use like our competitors do.
E-TEC G2 direct injection optimizes all elements of how fuel is delivered into the cylinder and combusted fuel is removed, creating the most efficient engine on the water today. By using advanced computer software designed to analyze this combustion process, the Evinrude E-TEC G2 achieves more torque throughout the power band, achieves Best in Class emissions, and never before achieved fuel economy.
